How do I accept a Shift Offer?
How you're offered a Shift depends on whether it's a 1099 Shift or a W-2 Shift.
1099 Shifts: In most cases, you'll need to submit a bid before you can be offered a 1099 Shift. Once your bid is accepted by the Requester — or automatically through Smart Hire — you'll receive a Shift Offer. For details on how to apply and submit a bid, see How do I apply and bid for posted Shifts?
W-2 Shifts: W-2 Shifts don't use bidding. The Requester sets the hourly rate, and you simply apply. If the Requester decides to hire you, you'll receive a Shift Offer directly — no bid required.
Once you receive a Shift Offer, you will get a device notification, in-app notification, text message, and email.
Make sure your notification settings are turned on to receive all Shift alerts. You'll find your Shift Offer in the Pending Offers tab of My Gigs. Once you've reviewed the details of the Shift, click "Accept" or "Reject." Offers are shown individually per Shift, so each one needs to be actioned on its own.
Once you receive a Shift Offer, you will have a limited amount of time to accept it, since other Workers may be able to accept before you. Once the Shift is filled, your offer will expire on its own.
