How do I get started with W-2 Shifts?
W-2 Shifts are opportunities for you to work as an employee through an Employee of Record, which is Ascen.
Once you accept an offer on a W-2 Shift, you will receive an email invitation to join Ascen and start onboarding. Contact support@ascen.com for any questions you may have regarding the onboarding process.
After you complete onboarding with Ascen and any additional verification reports on the W-2 Shift are clear, you will be scheduled for your Shift. Please reference the GigSmart app to determine the status of your Shift. Please do not show up for any shifts you are not scheduled on as this may result in unpaid work on your behalf.
