If you are injured while actively working a Shift Gig through the GigSmart Get Gigs app, an Occupational Accident Insurance claim will need to be reported immediately.
To report a claim, you will need to call the OneBeacon claims call center at 1-877-441-6274. The call center is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please be prepared to provide policy #216-002-433, along with your phone number and email address. A OneBeacon claims adjuster will be assigned to your claim and will guide you through the claims process. The claims adjuster may request additional information and it is important that you provide that information as soon as possible to avoid any delays in the handling of your claim.
If the injury requires immediate medical attention, please go to the nearest hospital or medical facility for medical treatment or dial 911. You should let the medical facility know you are an Independent Contractor and have Occupational Accident Insurance (OAI).
