What is a background-checked Worker?
GigSmart helps you find workers who have passed background checks.
Background-checked workers are eligible workers over the age of 18 who have passed a Checkr background check. Checkr is a third-party solution used by many companies, like Uber, to process background checks.
Background checks are optional for 1099 Shifts. Fees and minimums vary by shift type and Add-Ons, see more details here.
If you choose to not include this optional Add-On, we want to remind you that you’re sourcing workers without background checks at your own risk.
