What is Occupational Accident Insurance (OAI)?
OAI insures your shift workers.
Occupational Accident Insurance insures eligible shift workers for injuries that happen while they are logged into the GigSmart for Work app and performing on-demand shift services. OAI provides benefits for medical expenses, temporary disability, loss of life, survivor benefits, dismemberment, and paralysis for covered injuries directly caused by an occupational accident.
