What is the difference between an ASAP and a scheduled Shift?
Work ASAP or scheduled Shifts with the Get Gigs App.
ASAP Shifts are on-demand shifts that a business needs filled as quickly as possible. You will be notified of ASAP Shifts as they are posted.
ASAP Shifts are for workers who can head to the jobsite immediately. When you accept an ASAP Shift, businesses expect you to be available to start right away and begin traveling to the location as soon as you accept—not after completing other tasks or errands. ASAP Shifts also display a latest arrival time, so you'll always know the latest you can arrive and still start the Shift.
Scheduled Shifts are posted in advance with a specific start date and time, giving you the ability to plan ahead and commit to working at a future time.
Key Differences:
- ASAP Shifts: Accept only if you can leave immediately and arrive at the jobsite right away.
- Scheduled Shifts: Posted in advance with a set start time, allowing you to plan your schedule.
If you're not able to head to a jobsite immediately, look for scheduled shifts instead. This ensures businesses get the immediate help they need and helps you find shifts that match your availability.
