When will my background, MVR or drug screening get run?
A background check, MVR check, or drug screening will run once you accept an offer for a shift that requires it.
Not all shifts require background checks, MVR checks, or drug screenings. Opting in to have a check run does not immediately kick off the process.
Instead, once you accept an offer for a shift that requires it, that acceptance initiates the verification process with Checkr. If you're cleared, you'll be hired for the shift, usually within minutes. If the shift also requires a drug screening, that will be requested only after your background and/or MVR check has cleared.
If there's an issue with your verification, you'll be emailed directly with more information about next steps. This can take up to one week, but usually takes less than 24 hours.
