How do I excuse a Worker’s absence?
When you mark a Worker as a no-show, you will be prompted to excuse the Worker’s absence or leave the absence as unexcused.
If a Worker cancels themselves from a Shift within 10 hours before the start time, you will see a “Worker Cancellation Review” alert row in the app. You will have two business days after the Shift ends to excuse the Worker’s late cancellation or mark the late cancellation as unexcused. Cancellations that are not reviewed within the two business day timeframe will be automatically marked as unexcused.
If you have the Block Worker Setting enabled in your Organization profile, worker absences that are not excused will result in those workers being automatically blocked by your Organization. You can find more information on the Block Worker Setting here: https://help.gigsmart.com/what-is-the-organization-block-worker-setting
