Clock-In and Clock-Out codes can now be optionally added to Shifts
Shifts can now require a Clock-In and/or Clock-Out code for Workers to start and end their time clocks. Requiring a clock-in or clock-out code can be enabled or disabled at your convenience. There are two places you can manage your code requirements.
The Clock-In and Clock-Out settings can be set from the Location. When enabled or disabled at the Location level, any Shifts posted using that Location will have the same settings copied down to the Shift.
Shifts themselves will have their own settings to control the codes being enabled or disabled. From here you can also view and copy the code, and generate a new one if desired.
When Clock-In codes are enabled on the Shift, the Worker will have to enter the code once they arrive to the Shift Location to start their own clock. You will need to provide this code to them either through messaging or on-site. You can always manually start the Worker's clock yourself if needed. If a Worker's clock is started with a Clock-In Code, it will also appear in their timesheet.
Clock-Out codes will also be requested when the Worker tries to end their clock, but workers do have an option to clock out without a code. There will be a note on the Worker's timesheet in the event they clock-out without a code.
