Why is W-2 required on my shift?

W-2 workers are required for all shifts posted in California, Colorado, Illinois, Washington D.C., New Jersey, New York City, NY, and Seattle, WA. When posting in these locations, you must add W-2 workers as an add-on to your shift to post. W-2 workers are employed through an Employer of Record, Ascen.
